2. The Self-Checkout Process
Our website operates as a self-checkout system for our physical farm shop.
- Customers physically select their items in the shop.
- Items must be accurately added to the digital shopping cart on
gingasgard.sewith the correct quantities or weights. - Payment must be completed before leaving the farm grounds with the goods.
3. Prises and Payment
- All prices listed on the website are in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and include Swedish VATMums).
- We accept payment via Swish / Credit Card / Stripe / Cash and PayPal through our secure WooCommerce checkout.
- A digital receipt will be sent to the email address provided upon successful payment.
4. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Enligt Distansavtalslagen (Consumer Contracts Regulationscertain goods are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.
- Perishable Goods & Food: There is No right of withdrawal or return policy for fresh produce, meat, dairy, or other perishable food products once they have left the shop premises.
- Non-Perishable Goods: For non-perishable goods (e.g., crafts, wool, sealed dry goods), you have a 14-day right to change your mind, provided the goods are returned unused and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for return postage or bringing the item back to the farm shop.
5. Faulty Goods (Complaints)
If an item you purchased is defective or spoiled at the time of purchase, please contact us immediately at admin@gingasgard.se with your receipt number and a photo of the item so we can arrange a refund or replacement.
6. Customer Responsibility
As a self-checkout shop built on mutual trust, the customer is responsible for ensuring that all scanned or selected items match the items physically taken from the shop. Any intentional under-reporting or failure to pay constitutes theft and will be reported to the authorities.
